Thousands of spook house enthusiasts are testing their nerves at The Myers Inn Haunted Hotel this month. Creatures are lurking everywhere at the more than 12,000 square feet haunted hotel and carnival. The name of the haunted house was inspired by the popular Michael Myers villain from The Halloween Movies. Haunted house workers say even if you were spooked last year you still have to come back and see the new ending which is considered the spookiest part. Jessica Short/Myers Haunted Hotel Owner: "But if it wasn't scary we wouldn't be in business. I mean that's people want something different to do something fun and exciting and thrilling and I mean we try to make it fun for all ages but I mean it's pretty scary." "Ryan Gartman/Haunted House Enthusiast: "I mean I'm not going to lie it was all pretty scary they all jumped out of nowhere I mean. It takes a lot to make me jump but for the most part I jumped every time." "Lydia Richardson/Haunted House Enthusiast: "Probably not knowing what was going to jump out and the I don't like the power tools it's kind of scary (Nat Sound Laughter)." The Myers Inn will be open Thursday, October 27th from 7-10 and Friday October 28th through Halloween Monday from 7pm until the last scream.   [READ MORE]
