Kejriwal Announces Shorter And Simpler Anti-corruption Helpline

Buoyed by the response to the anti-corruption helpline number, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday announced another simpler helpline for the residents of Delhi to report incidents of corruption. Addressing a press conference, Kejriwal announced the new number 1031 and said, "The new helpline number, which is shorter than the older one, will help people memorize it quickly." Kejriwal said one Delhi government official has been caught following a complaint to the helpline and traps will be laid in 16 more cases which have been reported.
