Pregnant Women Told To Drink Bottled Water In West Virginia Area

By DMO Affiliate
Health officials are advising pregnant women who live in the areas of West Virginia, where a chemical leaked into the water supply last week, to drink bottled water. The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Services issued an advisory based on guidance from the Centers for Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, saying the move comes "out of an abundance of caution." On Wednesday, independent testing of water supplies from a hotel and home in southwest West Virginia showed the presence of the chemical, but both samples were within levels believed to be acceptable for consumption.
