BMW 435i Convertible Design Review

Light, sporty, exclusive. Every detail of the BMW 4 Series Coupes design has been created by sharply focused minds. Unbroken, flowing lines define the athletically elegant silhouette of the two-door newcomer. Its long bonnet and set-back passenger compartment complete with flowing roofline create perfect visual balance, and a low centre of gravity and wide track allow the BMW 4 Series Coupe to cut a powerful and confident figure on the road. Hallmark BMW design features, such as the kidney grille, twin circular headlights and a large air intake in the front apron, are a deliberate nod to the Coupes 3 Series family ties, while its sportier interpretation of those familiar themes underline its dynamic focus. A new feature of the Coupe are the Air Breathers located just rearwards of the front wheels, which reduce drag around the front wheel arches. And detailed design elements, such as precise contours, multifaceted surfaces and frameless doors, round off its eye-catching appearance. Inside, the Coupes premium ambience is fronted by high-quality material combinations, exclusive colours and individual equipment variants boasting exemplary fit and finish. The BMW 4 Series Coupe can be given a very personal touch through the individualisation of the exterior and interior: in addition to standard specification, BMW also offers the Sport, Luxury and Modern lines, which lend the car visibly contrasting characters.
