Musician Todd Rundgren has been pushing the boundaries of recorded music for decades, going back to 1972's Something/Anything , the landmark double album in which he composed every song, played every instrument and engineered and produced, using the multi-track recording process invented by the late Les Paul. He said, "I was alive before there were cell phones, I remember what it was like to have face to face interaction, to have privacy and patience. Guys with bluetooth headsets screaming on a street corner, you think they're yelling at you, but they're yelling at someone else."
