2013 Toyota Sienna Auto Access Seat

Sadly, if you have a disabled family member or friend, you know how hard it it to move them around with a car, as you have to help them to get from the wheelchair into the vehicles seat through the narrow door opening. Fortunately, Toyota thought at this painful process and came up with a solution to this problem by fitting the Sienna minivan model with a factory-built system that will pick up a person from the exterior and accommodate him/her inside. Named the Auto Access Seat, the system is basically a robotized rear seat that will slide and rotate 90 degrees, fully extending and exiting the vehicle for maximum reachability. After the disabled person gets seated in it, the robotized chair will retract back in the cabin and regain its original position, sparing you from the struggle. See the system working in the video bellow to fully understand how it works.
