West Bengal Governor M.K. Narayanan expressed regret Thursday over the absence of any state ministers at a government function to commemorate the 66th anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi's death, which is also observed as Martyrs' Day. Narayanan told the media,"Today's message is Gandhiji's message - peace. But I am sad that not a single state minister is present here," as he paid homage at the Gandhi Ghat located on the east bank of the Hooghly in Barrackpore.
