2014 Mercedes-Benz S 500 4MATIC Coupe Preview

The aggressive-looking Coupe, which will replace the CL-Class, looks similar to the concept that was unveiled at the Frankfurt auto show. The Coupe keeps the long hood, short deck, muscular wheel arches and bold grille previewed on the concept but adds a host of impressive technology, which leads with a new automatic adaptive suspension. The ¯¯¯Magic Body Control¯¯¯ suspension that helps keep the car flat over bumps and in corners first debuted on the S-Class sedan. ¯¯¯The Coup¯¯ leans into bends in a manner similar to a motorcyclist or skier,¯¯¯ Mercedes said in a press release. ¯¯¯The lateral acceleration acting upon occupants is reduced in a way akin to when driving in a steep curve, and passengers sit more firmly. On country roads in particular, the new curve tilting function enhances motoring enjoyment and comfort.¯¯¯
