Beth Jacob, the highest-level executive to leave Target Corp. following the company's big data breach, said it's time for a change. Jacob, the company's chief information officer, said in a letter to Target's Chief Executive Gregg Steinhafel obtained by MarketWatch, "This is a difficult decision after 12 rewarding years,". "But this is a good time for a change. This is a time of significant transformation for the retail industry and for Target. With the quality of its talent and the power of its brand, I'm confident Target will embrace the current opportunities and continue to be strong and successful in the future."
