Live Updates: Obama Gives Year-end Press Conference

By Clip Syndicate
In his traditional end-of-the-year news conference on Friday, President Obama addressed the Sony hack and North Korea, Cuba and other issues at the top of his fourth quarter in office. In his speech, Obama said that Sony's move to pull The Interview was a mistake and he wished they had talked with him first. The president added that the United States would respond to North Korea's "damaging" attack, but did not give further details. In defense of his steps on Cuba, Obama said U.S. engagement will help "chip away at its hermetically sealed society." President Obama ended his remarks by telling the press corps, "Now I am going to go on vacation."
