No Charges Against Milwaukee Ex-police Officer in Fatal Shooting

Saying that the use of force was justified, a Milwaukee district attorney said on Monday, a Milwaukee police officer who fatally shot an unarmed black man will not be charged in the incident. Milwaukee District Attorney John Chisholm said in a statement, Milwaukee police officer Christopher Manney, who has since been fired, was acting in self defense when he shot Dontre Hamilton 14 times during a struggle in Red Arrow Park in downtown Milwaukee on April 30.
