Santa Set to Ride In With Flash Floods, Severe Storms

Severe thunderstorms and flash flooding could put a damper on Christmas Eve, forecasters warned Wednesday, with heavy rains and winds expected to snarl holiday travel plans. Matt Crowther, a meteorologist with The Weather Channel, told NBC News that the chances of tornado activity are a lot lower on Wednesday than a day earlier, but twister warnings remained in effect for parts of Georgia and northern Florida.
