Vegas-Bound Flight Prepares for 'Non-Standard' Landing
By Clip Syndicate
 | A Virgin Atlantic passenger jet bound for Las Vegas was forced to turn back and prepare for a non-standard landing procedure on Monday after a problem with one of its landing gears, the airline said. The Boeing 747 had left London's Gatwick Airport and was over the Atlantic when it began circling. Gatwick Airport said in a statement that the aircraft developed a technical fault. West Sussex and Surrey fire departments told NBC News they had dispatched fire engines and specialist units to Gatwick as a precaution.
