Aire Serv - 2/21/17 Tue, 21 Feb 2017 13:27:35 +0000 Aire Serv - 2/21/17 Aire Serv - 2/21/17 KOLR clear out to most announcer: highlighting businesses and services in the ozarks - welcome to ozarks professionals. tom: thanks for joining us. with me today is robert roper and he is the owner of air serve of mid-missouri. good to see you. thanks for having us by. robert: it's good to have you. tom: kind of explain what you do with a general overview. robert: we do heating and air-conditioning, repair and maintenance and replacement. tom: i table what, let's talk first about the maintenance because if you don't take care of your system it fails you and then you are in a world of hurt. what kind of things do people need to look at when it comes to maintaining? robert: the main thing is, especially with gas furnaces, they need to be checked every year. every year they should be checked and serviced to make sure everything is clean and running efficiently and properly and safely. tom: also if it's not operating efficient that's money. that's money you are throwing down the drain. robert: right, because as little as 1/10 of an inch of dirt in a blower wheel can affect the efficiency by up to as much as 20%. tom: now what do you do here at air serve they can help people maintain what they have in their home? robert. we have what's called an advantage plan. we go out actually in the spring and do their air-conditioning check-up and then in the fall we go out and do a furnace check-up. tom: what kind of things are you looking at when you do one of these check-ups? robert: we're pretty thorough. we check pretty much every component on the system and we look for things that are gonna cause reliability issues. so anything like a part that's getting weak and starting to fail we can get that taken care of before it becomes a big problem. tom: get out ahead. robert: yeah, get ahead of it before it breaks on them. tom: so what kind of time is involved when you do one of these inspections? robert: one to two hours. tom: area that you cover? robert: we cover waynesville, st. robert, and about 30 miles out each way. tom: all right, give them a call. air serve of mid-missouri. right here. call this man. announcer: you can always see more ozarks
