WATN >> local memphis live continues with your host, amy speropoulos. >>amy: the memphis women's summit is happening with day march 30 and is an exciting time for women to network and come together and talk about professional development, personal and community leadership and invigorate and empower us all here to tell us about the event are these two ladies. i love this event. it is fabulous. >> isn't it? >>amy: you should do this twice times a year. >> it is one-of-a-kind for women and men this. we are the only ones who are elevating and uniting women. >> and connecting them. >> we all needed and women even more. we need to come together as a community and lift each other up. >>amy: that is why this is so great. what are you looking forward to this year and what are the main cofounder of hdtv, exciting to have her here. >> it since. that's just as exciting to hear for here. we want to hear about how she came up and the lessons she learned along the way. >>amy: i remember last year so vividly, just the power of getting women in one room for one day. >> we have three rooms, we troops.ut into different that is the greatest thing and partnering with our sponsors, still responsiveness, but that is healthcare, autozone and international paper as well as the memphis business journal. we are able to take people from those groups that have succeeded and we are talking about the real leaders of the city and you were able to get one on one with them in a way you normally don't. to hear their story and how they were able to succeed, so not only hearing susan packard's story, all throughout the day we heard stories of these amazing women. this is what both in our for-profit and nonprofit communities. we take a holistic approach to talk a little bit also about some of the things that you will be able to go over in those breakout sessions. >> the breakout sessions are focused on developing the potential of women and improving our community. what better way can we empower women to do those things and our community to make memphis better to make. >>amy: that's beautiful. some of the details about the event, tell us that. >> it is march 30, is kicking off at 8:00 a.m. with registration at the university of memphis. we are going the whole day pretty much ending at about 3:30 or so. what a lots of businesses and professionals have told us, especially those you are really trying to recruit and engage women in the business community, have set for them, they want their business leaders. they want the women who work for them to go to this because what they bring back is invaluable. to lead a and how i know what i have gotten out of it and what a lot of people who go there get on the list, you know this. >> oh, yes. >> you may have gone dust is here susan just to hear susan. but you come back with up to eight or more different ideas and you carry those to your team and your group. it is beneficial for you and it ins up being a beneficial your business. >> absolutely. >>amy: can you still get tickets? >> tickets are still available. for doing tickets or you can purchase for the whole day and join us or you can go to the luncheon panel. there are opportunities out there with every ticket level. >> for those who are looking to make a change or better themselves, we have a lot of vendors who are going to be there as well, not only our sponsors, but other organizations both for-profit and nonprofit. we have these vendor interactions as well that you can go ahead and take a look at. >>amy: take you so much. >> this has been great. >>amy: coming up memphis singer and songwriter will be here to perform for us talk about motivational monday am a we are going
