In our Bear Nation report, the Bears were trying to snap a two game losing streak against Oral Roberts. Earlier this season, the Bears beat the Golden Eagles by four runs in Tulsa. Tuesday night's action was in Springfield where the Bears have won five of the seven games played at Hammons. And Oral Roberts pitcher Logan Michaels was throwing b-b's early, he strikes out Jake Burger swinging. But Missouri State would strike first in the second Aaron Meyer doubles to center, that scores Justin Paulsen and it's 1-nothing Bears. The Golden Eagles tie it in the third, bases are loaded and Austin Knight walks Matt Whatley, that forces home Cal Hernandez it's 1-1. Then Noah Cummings drives this deep to left center, it's caught, but Dylan Snypes tags and scores from third on the sac fly it's 2-1. Oral Roberts adds more in the fourth, Hernandez grounds out to short, that scores Trevor McCutchin on the fielder's choice it's 3-1. And Oral Roberts hands Missouri State it's third straight loss 3-1. -------------------- OZARK, Mo--This week's heavy rain has forced a number of high school baseball games to either cancel games or change locations. That was the case Tuesday night where the Ozark kickapoo game was moved off campus to U.S. Ballpark in Ozark. And Ozark's Forrest Barnes was in control early, he strikes out Quin Reasoner swinging. The Tigers would strike in the bottom of the first, Chuck Hill singles past third into left, Parker Hanks scores it's 1-nothing Ozark. Bottom of the second, Kickapoo's Adam Link throwing heat, he gets Preston Sundlie swinging. Kickapoo ties it in the third, Mason Auer with the grounder to short, Ozark can't turn two, Zac Salyers scores it's 1-1. The Chiefs try to get more but this ball is caught in front of the Chiefs dugout, but Kickapoo beats Ozark 5-3 in 11 innings.
