(18 NEWS) - Sarah Files is the current and third owner and began working at Pip's at 15 years old. http://chic.clipsyndicate.com/video/playlist/12513/6856811?cpt=8&wpid=2637 WETM NBC 18 Elmira for the outcome, in albany nick perreault" a women's clothing store on market street is having its 36th birthday today. corning correspondent michelle ross is live from our corning bureau with the owner's story. michelle? amy, john - pip's boutique is celebrating over three decades in business. sarah files is the current and third owner and began working at pip's at fifteen years old. she worked her way up in high school. when she went to college, she studied business and came back to work at pip's during the summers. when she got a job in syracuse after college, she still helped the then-owner with buying shows. as for the boutique's future, sarah has a few things in mind. sarah files: "hopefully to continue to expand. maybe even do a younger store like a tween store would be awesome, but just to keep pip's alive and stay true to its core." if she does expand, she would like to open the second store on market street or get a bigger location to accommodate both. but if possible, she'd also want to make the current location work because of tradition and because it's brought them luck for so long. sarah also thanks the loyal customers who choose pip's over the mall and big box stores keeping the boutique in business for so long. reporting live from our corning bureau,
