WCIA >> an organization helping animals waiting for their forever family. we have yoshi with us today. check out yoshi here. tell me about yoshi. >> yes she is a seven year old sheba emu. we are able to get him out of integrating situation and he is living with a foster home and ready to get adopted! >> what kind of dog is he. >> that is a dog from china but he is seven years old. he has a nice thick coat. i am madly in love with these little corners on his cheeks. i think they're so cute! >> ended a picture he looks is a nice smile to him. >> would make a good forever family for yoshi? >> i think anybody would make a great family for yoshi! he loves kids, good with other dogs and their son captain his foster home. he has got a pretty chill couch and relax or chase after a ball every so often which is kind of fun. >> he is checking out over there. >> and he will! so he would be good in an apartment. >> yes because he is full-grown. he is seven years old? >> yes. >> so he knows how to act and behave around others. >> his foster mom said she had never heard him bark. she tries to get the other dogs to play with him so he is pretty quiet also. >> let's talk little bit about the services that you provide. you do such great work trying to keep dogs that do not thrive in shelters in homes where they be better suited. you do lots of stuff. >> thank you. we fund raise a lot so able to provide the care for all of the foster pets is a time through. make sure they are spayed and neutered and up to date on all of their vaccines. if they have any concerns we can get that dealt with through the back. he also placed the cleats taken heartworm prevention once a month. because i can be a really costly treatment if the dog is a tickler heartworm disease. it is very painful for them to recover from. and it is expensive! >> can people help out? if they cannot be a foster family there other ways to what people like and share our facebook posts. masons show up more. then sharpen our events or volunteer to help at one of our events or we have an amazon wish list where we have a lot of these things that we are able to buy. >> i think we actually have the link to the amazon wish list. hopefully they can put up. what kind of things are you wishing for? >> mostly dog food. because we provide dog food for the foster pets when it is needed. sometimes a foster will provide it and it is fine. crates, dog beds, lives at the center does their foster home with a toy. >> i think if they scroll down the side they can see some of the other things. we have to look at that and sherry lynn. >> there are times when we get a dog and they do not have so much as a name. so is this going to give them a collar and leash a toy in the bed to snuggle up on. >> so somebody out there is thinking oh my goodness, i need yoshi! he needs to come home to me. where can i find him? >> they can go online to facebook or they can email us. >> oh my gosh he is just so chill. oh my goodness! >> he is so perfect. we have people bending down our doors for this dog. >> i'm confident that will happen after today. they can always use a potbelly to help out too. >> yes we just had the 40th birthday less nicely give us 40 percent of their food sales which was amazing! and we go back there and you 17. the saturday before father's day. we will be there the afternoon for another potbelly fundraiser night. let's talk about the next one. you come back with another furry friend. >> but not yoshi because he will be adopted. >> for more information on pet net and how you can adopt yoshi or for the work there to be sure to
