Shaheed Morris reports Fri, 19 May 2017 23:34:52 +0000 FFC new wing Shaheed Morris reports WHAG undergone a $15 million dollar renovation. the project started in the fall of 2014 and was completed in the fall of 2016. the building remained occupied during the renovation as the work was completed in phases. walls in the student services were completely demolished to create a larger space when entering the welcome center. the upgrades include new floor, wall, ceiling, and major redesign of the student services areas. chris boies, vice presdent, financial & adminstrative services: "the orginal building was built in 1970. and it had the appearence of almost a prison. it had ceter block walls, square and blocked off. this is much more open space. a lot of color. more student space where they can hang out, study together." tasmin: and starting in the fall, construstion of a new building on the lord fairfax fauquier campus will begin. morgan: sacred
