Try It Before You Buy It: Air Hawk. Fri, 07 Jul 2017 22:26:47 +0000 Try It Before You Buy It: Air Hawk Try It Before You Buy It: Air Hawk. KLAS Las Vegas, NV >>> a portable air compressor that you can use anywhere anytime you need it. that's the promise behind the "air hawk." ((denise valdez)) >> it claims its perfect for flat tires ... pool floats and much more and tonight ... michelle mortensen puts it to the "try it before you buy it" test. ((00:00there's a new way to inflate tires, sporting equipment and more. :03 it's called the airhawk and it is revolutionary ... air hawk noise.... )) (( ((michelle mortensen)) i've gotten so many requests to put this air hawk pro to the test and today is the day and its only appropriate that we choise the hottest day of the year )) ((michelle mortensen)) but thankfully ... this product works no matter what the air temperature. it simply takes the outside air and compresses it into tires .. balls .. floats and more. it even has a built in pressure guage stopping at whatever pressure point you set it to. and the commercial makes it all look so easy ... (( ((michelle mortensen)) so you screw this on )) ((michelle mortensen)) but i've never changed a tire before. (( ((michelle mortensen)) how's this work?? )) ((michelle mortensen)) so let's just say for me .... this wasn't such a simple task... it took a while for me to just screw iton... but once that happened ... i set the psi and pulled the trigger. 52 seconds later ... ((clip 13 2:49 oh yeah we put air in a tire )) and i was very proud of myself. next up blowing up a football. ((clip 14 1:02 alright -- let's do this )) this went pretty well .. except ... unlike with tires .. the air hawk won't turn itself off .. because you don't preset a p-s-i. and i had no idea when to stop. soooo ((clip 14 1:50 that is one tight ball -- i don't think they are supposed to be like that. )) well -- depends on who you ask our last test .... blowing up some pool floats... just as the temperatures soared to 117 degrees. which neither the airhawk or i really liked. ((1:32 keep going -- why are you turning off )) in fact ... the air hawk stops working if it gets too hot ... but i don't ... and eventually ((1;11 we got one done )) these pretty pool floats puffed up perfectly. ((clip 18 7:10 we have a flamingo )) so just like the commerical promises ... the airhawk pro does it all tires.. balls .. pool floats and more. making it a definitie deal. ((michelle mortensen)) so we used it all weekend on pool floats ... and my husband has a much different opinion on the product than i do. he thought it was too slow. and i thought it just turned itself off that day because of the heat wave ... but no ... it always turns it self off all the time... but it is portable and it does work. the airhawk pro is 50 bucks on it's official website ... though some retailers are offering it for less. ((denise valdez)) (( we broke a record with 22 straight day of 105 plus degrees. the previous record was
