(colleen) there are a lot of great organizations in central pennsyvlania that give back to the community. in the johnstown area -- there is an ongong playground takeover. it's run by the "coaches 4 kids foundation" and goodwill. the goal is to give kids a safe place to play -- and talk to mentors all summer long. kc kantz and jim burton are live to tell us about another program serves as a positive outlet for kids. (kc) good morning again -- we are coming to you live on board a camtran bus. this is the route 11 bus which will be making stops in richland township this morning. when we do these on the road trips we meet a lot of people who want to make a difference in their community. and we found a program that is keeping kids busy during the long hot summer. every friday night -- trojan stadium is open to kids of all ages to come out an play. 22:43:10 i think we wanted to try mirror some of the things the "y" used to do with midnight programs 15 that had positive things going on fridays. there is a lot of positive things, people trying to do positive things for kids and we're just trying to be part of that team 23 the 7 on 7 flag football game is all about fun. there are no teams. no coaching. these are pickup games - played just for fun. the program started last year -- and it was so popular that coach penna wanted to bring it back. kids come from all over the johnstown area to have fun and stay out of trouble. austin barber/jtown: 22:54:12 it means a lot to me. i know he loves us, and we love him. i look at him like a father (colleen) still to come on wtaj news this morning... we are back
