After a couple of wins, A.J. Donatoni is back to .500 in the Eyewitness Sports Golf Challenge. But now he's heading to Woodloch Springs to face John Pillar, who's played in the U.S. Open and just this year played in the U.S. Senior Open.

But now he's heading to Woodloch Springs to face John Pillar, who's played in the U.S. Open and just this year played in the U.S. Senior Open. http://chic.clipsyndicate.com/video/playlist/12516/7006240?cpt=8&wpid=2637 WBRE ((a.j.))after a couple of wins -- i'm back to 500 for the eyewitness sports golf challenge this year.but now comes a big test, against a pro who's played in the u-s open and just a few weeks ago played in the u-s senior open. this won't be easy.i've gotten back on track with just a few weeks to go, converting a clutch par last time out for the win. next up -- it's a trip to wayne county and the country club at woodloch springs. my opponent is a seasoned competitor, head pro john pillar, and he's picked out the 12th hole for us to play -- a relatively short but difficult par 4.banterdriver is the choice for both john and me off the tee...and both of us find the fairway. i'm away for our 2nd shots but i need only a pitching wedge. i catch the ball a little fat and i'm just short of the green, but with a front pin that's not bad. john meanwhile hits a beauty, looks really good as it disappears, but it spins back to about 15 feet.i choose to putt my ball from off the green, but i totally misjudge the speed...the ball flies past the cup, and i have 7 feet coming back for par. john meanwhile has this to win it with a birdie...not quite, but that's an easy par.so i need to make the comebacker for a draw...sadly, the ball lips out, leaving me with a bogey. so after a couple wins, i'm back in the loss column, and my record is now 3-4-3 for the challenge.banter 3
