MONDAY MVP Mon, 16 Oct 2017 22:29:38 +0000 MONDAY MVP MONDAY MVP WHAG monday mvp has been lighting up the scoreboard all season long...> for williamsport on friday night...> the wildcats beat frederick 46-7 and the offense was pretty much unstoppable...> they racked up 379 yards -- including 112 from carter and three touchdowns...> quarterback jakob ball also did his part with 232 yards and four scores...> each week -- the wildcats make big plays and it has helped them to a 5-2 record as the playoff push heats up...> as for kay-von -- he's just enjoying his senior season and trying to help his team in whatever way possible...> kavon carter, williamsport senior rb (:00-:08): yeah it's exciting but i couldn't do anything without my teammates, blocking for me and making ways -- making holes for me to go through and score. tim small, williamsport head coach (:09-:15): sometimes i joke around with him that he's kind of like this little kid bottled up in a teenagers body. when he's out there playing his best, he's out there just having fun and with his teammates and he's always full of a lot of energy. i had the opportunity to coach him at the varsity level for three years now, since he was a sophomore and watched him progress. i'm really excited to see him has the great senior year he's having and just really proud of him. kavon carter: every team wants to go to the state -- every team wants to win a state championship so i think that's our goal but originally we've got to take one game at a time like we're zero and zero. it's time to take a look
