((josh)) in other games friday.... sterling defeated dekalb 31-3. marquette wins the northeastern athletic conference championship with a 41-13 win over hiawatha. burlington central downed harvard 49-14 and johnburg rolled marengo 43-6. ((josh)) each week we'll spotlight one player who stoodout from the pack. ((scott)) this is that moment. it's the wendy's mvp and for the first time ever we have co-mvps. the first is lutheran linebacker christian bonacquisti. you saw him earlier in the show. he recorded 41 tackles against stillman valley. we believe that's a national high school football record. 41 tackles in one game. he now has 191 tackles total this season. ((josh)) our other co-mvp is north boone quarterback britton morris. the junior quarterback was superman in the vikings 48-47 win over dixon. morris finished with 541 total yards of offense and seven total touchdowns. he was a one-man wrecking crew. ....we'll be right back.
