NLCS Live 3 Tue, 17 Oct 2017 23:22:16 +0000 NLCS Live 4 NLCS Live 3 WQRF FOX league championship series has been all dodgers so far. the cubs will try to change that tonight in game three in front of their home fans. they'll play at wrigley field. that's where scott leber is. he joins us live from the ballpark. scott the cubs are no strangers to trailing in playoff series. ((scott)) no they're not. they trailed the dodgers last year in the nlcs two games to one before coming back. and of course they trailed the indians three games to one in the world series and then they ripped off three straight wins. but that's playing with fire. kyle hendricks will try to get the cubs off to a good start tonight as he takes the mound. he had two starts in the previous series against the nationals. he was outstanding in his first start. he was shaky in his second one. he knows how important this game is for the cubs. he was asked if that world series comeback last year gives them confidence they can do it again. (kyle hendricks, starts tonight) "in a way yea since we accomplished that we know we just have to take it game by game. any situation being down 3-1 even we have to take it, just worry about the next game. in that situation we didn't think we had to win three in a row, anything like that. we just came to the ballpark the next day and worried about what we had to do that day. you have to go out there and do it. play the game, so that's where our focus is right now. just pitch the pitch at-bat to at-bat. grinding out abs. making good pitches. we know we've got to get some 'ws'. ((scott)) the cubs simply need someone to step up and break the ice. maybe it'll be kyle schwarber who's back in the lineup tonight. or perhaps kris bryant or anthony rizzo will snap out of their slumps. righthander yu darvish will be on the hill for the dodgers making this an excellent pitching matchup for a game three. the game starts shortly after eight o'clock tonight. reporting live from wrigley field i'm scott leber. over in new york
