Baseball highlights Wed, 18 Oct 2017 02:08:20 +0000 NLCS Live 9 Baseball highlights WQRF FOX pressure is on the cubs tonight to deliver a win against the dodgers. ((eric)) josh filomeno joins us with our first look at sports. the dodgers have owned the cubs so far. ((josh)) their pitching staff, especially their bullpen has completely shutdown the cubs. ((josh)) through the first two games the cubs managed only seven hits and three runs. but with this game at wrigley field, the cubs should be more comfortable at the plate. scott leber is once again at wrigleyville keeping tabs on the action. scott how's it looking so far? ((scott updates the score and the scene)) only three times in the history of league championship series has a team lost the first two games and come back to win the series. so far this series hasn't just been stressful for the players. it's been stressful for the fans. they've agonized over every pitch and every out. (scott question) on a scale of one to ten where would you rate your stress level? (laura matauscewski, cubs fan) eight and a half. (scott) that's pretty stressed. (matauscewski) yea that's a little bit stressed out yea. i'm also really tired from that game that lasted nine million hours the other night. i haven't caught up yet." (scott question) how are you guys holding up so far? (paul townsend, cubs fan) "okay. we won the world series last year so. with the hitting being so poor you just hope if they start hitting they're going to start winning. until that happens i'm not going to be too stressed about these games." (scott question) are you holding up okay? (kate townsend, cubs fans) "i'm probably a little bit more stressed than he is. i think he's a better believer than i am." (andy wiltberger, cubs fan) "i'm pretty good. i'm happy. i think that you know we were in the world series and were down 3-1 and came back from that. so it's only 2-0. i think tonight's a good night. we're at home." ((scott)) reporting live from wrigley field i'm scott leber. ((emily))
