Tori Bogner with the Alumni Association stops by for the Alumni Snoutout segment Sat, 21 Oct 2017 15:29:20 +0000 Alumni Snoutout Auburn 2017 Tori Bogner with the Alumni Association stops by for the Alumni Snoutout segment KNWA >> yeah, we're visiting with the arkansas alumni association one of those members is tori bogner. and tori joins us right now, tori thanks very much. we've got d.j. back as well. how are you. >> doing well. >> i'm glad we're back home for a football game. it was rough on the road. did you go to any of those rough games the past couple of weeks, did you go on the road at all. >> it was wedding season. >> wedding crashers. >> can't have wedding season during football season. at least home games i guess, yeah. but we've got some cool stuff i was chatting with her before the segment alumni house. you know catching up with the changes of time you know what i mean? cool stuff coming up. >> that's right. >> i want to mention that tori is also the director of business development and she's the director of business development for baldwin and shell construction, annual member. and let's talk about the fact that you've got this alumni app going on because i know this is something as far as trying to connect as much as you can with all the razorback graduates. >> that's right get on the app get campus updates, sometimes people like instagram. sometimes people like facebook sometimes people want it in one spot you can get it all in one spot get on tomorrow before tomorrow get your alumni t-shirt for homecoming. there's push notifications which sometimes you don't like but you get an f for facebook and s for instagram. alumni. >> you said you all have so much stuff going on it's almost impossible to keep up. but this app makes it very accessible and easy to follow, right? >> what i love there's so many perks and benefits of being a member and you get discounts at restaurants and a bunch of stores i could never keep them straight in my head now they've got it categorized log on where do i want to eat where i'm going to get a discount. >> that's nice always gotta get that help always good. want to talk about homecoming, after this football game arkansas goes to ole miss for a game and homecoming november 4th, always a great time tell us about events coming up for the alumni association november 4th the homecoming game against coastal carolina. >> not just home gaming day. all week. starting the 28th. trying to get the whole community involved make sure it's not just on campus. encouraging businesses to decorate their front windows to put something out in the front yard. we're getting kiddoed involved with coloring sheets if you're under 11 years old. >> wait a minute. under? i can't have one of those? >> maybe we can have a kid at heart section. >> i'll steal some. >> d.j. will find a way. >> absolutely. >> you can come be part of the parade encouraging people to come be, have a business or community organization in the parade this year not just for campus folks. >> thinking about your time as a player here, and you always talk about this with homecoming, and that is that you guys are so focused on the game you didn't get an opportunity to really get to take part in some of those events off the field. >> no, i didn't and i hear all about it. we saw some of it. that's when instagram kind of started when i was in college and now it's so big and it opens it up to a huge community of the razorback family. so i know as far as you said that app and you talk about the events going on all week can we find stuff there as well? >> absolutely. and if it's not on the app, we can get it on the app. and if we're not on the app yet you can go to homecoming.uark dom. >> in high demand. >> want to point out the way this is for arkansas graduates when they tour the country and really beyond the united states and the fact you're trying to promote the university of arkansas because there's only one razorback, what's that like when you get outside of fayetteville. >> it's fantastic. people have always heard of the razorback my favorite lines out of the movie. there's lions there's tigers, there's bears only one razorback. >> houston reference. >> only one razorback. >> i commit i'm going to arkansas just for that. >> thanks so much thank you for joining us. >> we'll rewind after this we'll
