Top Tech For Photography Fri, 27 Oct 2017 21:40:11 +0000 Top Tech For Photography Top Tech For Photography KAMR >> andy: believe it or not, the holidays are rights around the corner. from halloween costumes the halloween gatherings, do you have the right pet gadgets to capture those moments? just so happens our blue shirt pal brian hayes is here with us today. the blue shirt had to go to the laundry, and he's geeked out over if black. >> i am. >> so we'll let him ride this one out. okay, so brian, you have a lot of different options to get us geared up for the holidays. let's start with the insects? >> yes. >> mininine. >> yes. this is just a portable camera. what it does is you take a me toe to immediately print off of the actual camera itself. it's really nice, especially if you're going to these parties, halloween is coming up, thanksgiving, christmas, any time you're in those settings, you'll with able to hand it out to everybody. it's really cool, really nation thing to have. >> i think it's cool we're going retro. i grew up in the era of the instant -- everything you took, and then remember you have to shake it like a polaroid picture. and just like that, you're done. now if you've got maybe something you want to print off, we have this real quick gadget. >> any mobile device, connect to it. cool thing york you print up to 30 pictures. it has hour-listening battery life whenever you recharge it. it takes about an hour, as well. you can print 30 off of one charge. it's nice to have. that way anybody can access it via a bluetooth and give it out to your family. >> andy: how do you put new ink in it? >> there are little ink packs to make that work. >> andy: that's something i think my girls would absolutely love. they constantly want the print pictures. maybe that would help. maybe you need a new camera. maybe you need updating. that's what we have here courtesy of sony. >> sony is a nice, good, compact, simple camera. with that being said, it has the power, it has mirror less technology. it's from pry tear to sony. with that being said, it has interchangeable lenses. you can do a lot with it. it's really good in different lighting conditions some if it's dark light, well-lit areas, take some really good, professional-grade photos off of that camera. >> andy: what's the price point? >> that is $550. >> andy: do you remember when you mentioned the letters d.s.r. how much you were talking? >> they can go astronomical. it depends on how big and bad you want to get with them. >> andy: now it has a good price point. everybody knows about the gopro, but it's a fun thing to have. >> it is. new one just came out, hero six. really cool addition to really anybody that you're going to be on the go. neat thing with that, you can use it at any point in time. it's just one quick button to upload your mobile device. your followers, your friends, your family, they can see what you're recording, as well. it's a really cool opportunity the take advantage of anything, photos you take with your family. get a different perspective than what you're used to. >> andy: we're now to the point in life. i'm older and technology is increasing. something is blowing me away. i don't understand how they work and i don't necessarily have to, but i know they're cool. that's what we've got in this drone technology now. >> this drone even with it being "a beginner-grade drone," it works off of facial recognition. wherever it's taking off, you can recognize where you're at. you can control it via hand gestures. really cool route to go. we have a wide range of drones to be able to take advantage of. even for your kids and even if you want to use a professional use. >> andy: it's like the jedi mind trick. you wave your hand and the thing does whatever you want it to do. >> that's correct. it's pretty neat. fi. john. >> andy: if john hard was were to buy that for me for christmas, what are we looking at, because he's a charitable guy? >> that one is $500. >> andy: john, i think our friendship is worth at least $500. thank you. make sure you head out the best buy at westgate mall for all your tech needs. up next, spectacular halloween party snacks. we have pizza bread skins and halloween
