Mr. Christie is a passionate art enthusiast who has received many awards including the Caldecott Honor, Coretta Scott King Award honor, The New York Time's Best Illustrated Childrenís Books of the Year award, The Boston Globeís Horn Book Award and the NAACP Image Award.
