"everyone is really excited about it,they're like 'yeah its snowing, its exciting' and im like im from california and this is terrifying." desiree lapez is a bariesta at jamoka's coffee company in albertville. " it's all wet and cold and dreary." jamoka's is one of the few local businesses that decided to stay open as the snow steadly fell through the morning. lapez says the cold weather didnt stop their early morning customers. " we're still hopeful that we have our hot coffees and our lattes and stuff, and people are going to want to come in and have somewhere to hang out and stay warm today." the coffee shop owner says as of right now, they dont have plans of closing the doors due to snow throughout the rest of the day. " you should probably go out and enjoy it while you can." reporting in albertville am waay 31 news.
