http://chic.clipsyndicate.com/video/playlist/12450/7213620?cpt=8&wpid=2637 Sun, 17 Dec 2017 23:52:45 +0000 UVM Women Fall to Northeastern 71-66 UVM Women Fall to Northeastern 71-66 http://chic.clipsyndicate.com/video/playlist/12450/7213620?cpt=8&wpid=2637 WFFF lauren for the the u-v-m women's basketball team... this afternoon was their first game at home in two weeks... and the team's first game on tom brennan court... the cats trying to get their first win since mid-november... hanna crymble... working early in the first quarter... she gets herself open and knocks down the shot to bring her point total to 12... cats lead 12 to 11... crymble scored u- v-m's first 14 points of the game... time ticking down in the first half... jess genco drives and hits the floater... huskies take the 33 to 30 lead into the half... candace wright pulls a few moves in the paint... gets the bucket... cats by two now... here's crymble again... this time on the give and go... she finished with a game-high 32 points... but that wasn't enough to get the double you... northeastern takes the 71 to 66 win after shooting 15 of 34 from three... and head coach chris day says that was the difference maker... chris day: "i think you just hit the nail on the head, it was the three-point shooting. you know 15 for 34, slightly below 15%. give them credit, and we can knock it down too. we have kids that are more than capable. we just came up short shooting 6 for 22 but really happy with the way we battled."hanna crymble: "building confidence on the team is a big thing, trying to keep everybody up and playing hard, and i think we're really improving on that and i'm excited to see how it turns out." next up for the uvm women is the catamount classroom game on thursday morning against central connecticut state... the team is expecting local children of all ages to attend the game starting
