http://chic.clipsyndicate.com/video/playlist/12451/7385215?cpt=8&wpid=2637 Wed, 11 Jul 2018 03:23:40 +0000 sportscast 10 PM july 10 sportscast 10 PM july 10 http://chic.clipsyndicate.com/video/playlist/12451/7385215?cpt=8&wpid=2637 WEVV jo jo gentry joins us coming up in sports. we're about a month away from the start of the high school football season... so 44blitz crews will be roaming around the tri-state every friday before you know it! but before we jump to the upcoming season, we check in on how locals are playing like all-stars one last time. keioni mcguire: i love it. last high school game let's go with a bang. noah jones: very honored. you know it's the best guys in the state at least most of them are and i'm a part of it so it's very special for me. jayce harter: always been one of my goals. and this game is just huge for the southridge community. get somebody here that's the main goal every year. it's just really cool to be a part of this. make all of these friends from different places and there's we get to enjoy the game we all love. nat triston: it's an honor you know.... triston: some of the best guys in indiana out here. just nice to get out here and work. nat michael: people skills is a big thing and just building long lasting relationships... and bringing that team mindset to every aspect of my life. andy: it's an incredible honor to be a part of this game. the history of the game. it's the longest running high school football all star game in the united states. nat these kids realize that it's a special game and come back out and represent your high school, your hometown, your community one more time with that helmet on and it's a pretty neat experience for all of them. central grad dylan meyer is spending his 23rd birthday on the p-g-a tour... makes you think what you were doing a few months post-college... well, he's made more than 200-thousand dollars since he graduated in may. while all of this is new to him, he's back in illinois where his pro career got started. dylan: i can hang i can play. and that i do belong and that if i play my steady, good golf i can compete and win these events. nat coming out here also a good opportunity to play against some of the best in the world and i'm just excited to be a part of this and continue my career. nat last year, i just wasn't hitting it very well. i made a lot of putts to keep it close to the cut but this year i feel a lot different. i feel a lot better you know i was coming off that ulcerative colitis last year and....i didn't necessarily play my best and i was just kind of in a mental fog but right now i feel mentally sharp and feel good about my game. nat i need to work a little bit harder on my short game. it was good in college. it got me by and won some tournaments but now you're here and it's a different level. 44sports had a special guest in studio this evening! this is my mom, joanna. she lives in my hometown of anderson, indiana... which is about a four hour drive up i-69. she was in town for business and stopped by to take me out to dinner and catch up.
