Part 2. http://chic.clipsyndicate.com/video/playlist/12451/7389084?cpt=8&wpid=2637 WMGT c1 3 b15 a little bit about mountain sales, the upcoming season. all right, for offense, you've got eight starters back, but first, line of scrimmage. there are a lot of coaches that would die to be able to come in here and say, i've got a pretty good stacked experienced line of scrimmage coming back on offense. that's got to be a plus for you. keith hatcher: it is, we finished the season with five underclass starting on the offensive line. all five of those guys are back playing together. really have started together since they were in 10th grade. so, the experience of being together for that long we hope pays off for us. bill shanks: and you've known that was coming. like you said. so that's got to be a great advantage for you to have that experience there. and especially, to compliment those guys with some experience, even though they're both juniors, with your quarterback, dexter williams, and then josiah cotton, the running back that did so well for you last year. keith hatcher: yeah, the experience is huge, and we've been building for this year dane fryers, a guy that's really been a leader for us up front. he'll be a senior this year. mike hadaway is a really productive senior for us coming back. and then the two juniors that you mentioned, dexter williams, josiah cotton, those guys have taken a lot of snaps together. so, we just gotta continue to improve, and hope this season is better than the last. bill shanks: you've been building for this season, and that's gonna put the pressure. do those players understand that the expectations are higher this year? six wins was good last year, may not be good enough this year, you need to do better than six wins this year, considering the experience on this team. keith hatcher: they understand. the kids have been looking forward to this season. bill shanks: yep. keith hatcher: with a group of 17 seniors, they've been playing together for three, four years, they've been excited about this time. and we've been building, and just gotta continue to get better, and hopefully we have a great season. bill shanks: good leadership on this team? keith hatcher: absolutely. bill shanks: with seniors? keith hatcher: absolutely. the off season's had a much different feel. bill shanks: yeah. keith hatcher: with 17 seniors, we step back as coaches sometimes and let them take control and they've done a great job of doing that. bill shanks: sounds like the cavaliers are ready to go. their first game will be on the 17th against monticello, and should be always interesting in region seven, and . coach hatcher, thanks for coming in. good luck. keith
